<p>Setting goals and positive motivation to exercise:<br />
Simply setting a goal cannot be motivating. Set target and the deadline will push to get the most out of the exercise and nutrition program. After reaching the goal set new target for the next level. Place a picture of how one looks currently and place it somewhere one cannot miss seeing it everyday. Now carry on with the program and hang up a new picture every 4 weeks. The changes and the positive comments from the supporters will provide gobs of motivation. Write a list of all the reasons one is following new program along with the specific, reasonable goal and time-frame. Think of all the benefits of exercise. improved energy, increased mental focus, better self-esteem, increased sense of control over the life, reduced chances of heart attack, osteoporosis, breast cancer, increased strength and stamina, decrease of stress and many more.</p>
<p>Keep mind fresh:<br />
Track the progress daily including the exercises, weights used and sets and repetitions. Nothing gives motivation to exercise like results and will see them in the journal even before the picture looks any different. Reading not only provides more knowledge but keeps the subject fresh in my mind and teaches new techniques and inspires to try them out. Meeting and work out regularly with a friend, especially one who is at about the same stage, will improve the attitude hugely. This is one policy that has helped many to attach to their program. Researches have shown that those who exercise 5 to 6 days a week, in the morning are likely to stick with the program and reap the benefits. Morning work out awakens the metabolism and senses and kick starts the day.</p>

<p>Hamstring actually refers to one of the tendons that form the border of the space behind the knee from the human anatomical point of view. According to the latest anatomical contexts they are usually refer to the tendons of the semi tendinsus. In the humans the hamstrings occupy the posterior part of the body of the femur. They appearance of the hamstrings actually refers to the string like tendons that can be felt on the either side of the back of the knee. There are four muscles in the posterior thigh flex or bend of the knee and three of the four extend to the knees. Also the hamstrings are the main cross and acts upon the hip and the knee joints.</p>

<p>Since the hamstrings are made up of the three muscles that is the semi tendinosus biceps femoris and the semimembranosus that runs down the back of the upper part of the thighs it is important to keep them in proper shape and flexible through appropriate exercises. This is done by standing and placing the barbell across the back of the shoulders as it is done for squatting. This perfectly stretches the hamstring and give them an effective toning.</p>

<p>Some people have really high rates of metabolism. In other words, when they consume food, their bodies burn it up almost as fast as then consume it. Then there are those of use who use our food intake so slowly, as to not even notice that we&#039;re burning calories. These people who burn quickly are often slim and trim, the people who burn more slowly are the people with a tendency toward obesity.</p>
<p>The body&#039;s metabolism is a unique process for each individual person. No two people metabolize food at the same rate therefore no two people have the metabolism. We all use our calories at different rates, with different results. Our metabolism, like our fingerprints is unique to each of us. But the need to understand and accommodate this metabolism is an issue that we all face.</p>
<p>All of this metabolic process is related to our calorie intake, our vitamin and nutrition needs, our thyroid and endocrine production, and how well all of these processes come together. If you can raise someone&#039;s metabolic rate, you are then better able to control the burn of calories, especially for overweight or obese people. <p>When Joseph Pilates developed his plan to condition bodies based on a series of poses held through deep breathing, it was to benefit his patients who were recovering from illnesses and injuries. What Pilates found through trial and error during his development process was that Pilates strengthened the core of muscles that contain the abdominals, back, shoulders and pelvis. He used the bodies&#039; own resistance to build muscle from having to balance in the poses. The end results were bodies that were more flexible and muscle that were stronger.</p>
<p>Today, proponents of the method insist that Pilates can help you sculpt your body in as little a twenty minutes daily, three times a week. One may not know this but many people do not use good form when doing an abdomen crunch. Not only can this cause back problems, it will also make the abdomen workout less effective. Learn to do it right way so that one can do it easily while sitting at home and watching television. Nowadays no body has time to go to the gym to workout due to their busy schedule. And neither they have time to watch television. So if somebody wants both at home then this is the best exercise to do at home while enjoying the favorite show on television.</p>
<p>Tips to crunches in proper way:</p>
<p>Before starting with crunches one must know the basic way to do it at home without instructor. Lie down on the floor on the back and bend the knees, placing the hands behind the head or across the chest. Now pull the belly button towards the spine, and flatten the lower back against the floor. Slowly contract the abdominal, bringing the shoulder blades about one or two inches off the floor. Exhale as one comes up and keep the neck straight, chin up. Hold at the top of the movement for a few seconds, breathing continuously. Slowly lower back down, but do not relax all the way. Repeat for 15 to 20 repetitions with perfect form for each rep. To add variation, bring the knees in at the same time and lift the upper body off the floor. To make it more difficult, balance on an exercise ball. By doing this in proper way the fat will reduce in short span and in fun way at home.</p>
<p>Tips:</p>
<p>To keep the neck in proper alignment, place the fist under the chin to keep the head from moving. Keep the back flat against the floor throughout the entire movement. If the back arches, prop the feet on a step or platform to make it easier. Things required to perform this exercise at home are a carpeted floor or mat, abdominal, exercise ball.</p>
