Fitness tips for beginners

Occasionally, just getting to the gym is half the battle. Making exercises dates with a fitness friend can help to commit a new routine. When someone else is counting, the person is more likely to stick to a schedule and try new things, like a kickboxing class that requires a partner. Setting sensible workout goals can help to stick with the fitness program. Anything too strenuous and neither the brain nor the body will stay on board. To follow the success, it is suggested to keep a fitness journal.Latest studies recommend that warming up before a workout and saving stretching for after is the best way to avoid injury. This will allow muscles and joints to move and extend in preparation for greater speed and range of motion.
Get comfortable:

Nothing will make a workout quicker than too-tight shoes or an obstructive sports bra. So before hitting the gym, stock up on fitness basics and buy comfortable workout wear made of breathable fabrics and fitted cross-training shoes. Consider investing in a compact music player and creating a play list of the favorite get-moving songs for mid-workout motivation. Before committing to the newest exercise fashion, think twice about what sort of routine sounds most appealing. If the person is fairly social or competitive, group exercise classes may give the incentive to keep coming back. If preferred to go it alone, meet with a trainer to design own individualized fitness routine or invest in a few fitness DVDs one can do in the privacy of the own home.
Start slow:

Injuries usually occur when people returning to a former exercise routine do too much too soon. If the person was inactive for more than a month, start a new program that starts off simple and slowly becomes more challenging. Like if someone prefers running, commit the first few sessions to interval training. Go back and forth between walking and jogging stints before upping the mileage and time. Warming up before exercise and cooling down after exercise is absolute important to stay healthy and fit while exercising.
