Laughter Exercises
Health problems are a common thing to the people who are over the age of fifty. And the only resort to keep you healthy is to do some exercises. But even the people who are young are reluctant to do exercise leave the old ones. The only reason for this reluctance is that they find it boring and binding them to a routine. Moreover who has time to do such things in this fast moving world? But our body doesn't listen to all these excuses. Therefore we suffer from various health problems. Even if we can take it to certain extent the old people can't and thus suffer a lot by leading a painful life. So why not do something which will interest us also and will also keep ourselves fit, such as Laughing!!
Benefits of Laughing
Many might wonder that how only laughing can help us in keeping fit. But yes it is true. Many of us are unaware of the fact that we physiologically change tremendously when we laugh. We stretch muscles throughout our face and body, our pulse and blood pressure also goes up, and we breathe faster, sending more oxygen to our tissues. Actually when we laugh then over 400 muscles of our body move and in this way it also helps us in burning down the unwanted extra calories in our body. Studies and researches have shown that laughing 100 times offers an aerobic workout equivalent to 10 minutes on a rowing machine or 15 minutes in an exercise bike. From here we can make out the amount of workout or physical exercise we are doing just by laughing. Many people regard it as a mild exercise. Laughing along with certain arm movements like flying the arms is even better. It gives a complete workout to the body and also helps in keeping ourselves fit. Also the person feels extremely relaxed and doesn't feel tired at all.
Conclusion
So we can see that it is not always necessary to do heavy exercises to keep ourselves fit. The people who are over the age of fifty years can very well adapt this therapy and can enjoy keeping themselves fit by only laughing.
