Mild stretching exercises
After a man attains the age of fifty the body becomes lesser efficient than it was during the younger stage. This is due to the fact that the activity of the active cells of the body reduces commendably. The death rate of the active cells exceeds the growth rate of these cells. Efforts should be made to keep the body in good shape or avoid any further damage to the body. The muscles and the bones become weaker due to the wear and tear it has undergone all through the life. The joints of the body become stiffer, the muscles attached to the bones loose strength, the eyesight of a person becomes weaker. To ensure that these parts are flexible and strong enough to carry the load of the body one should subject the body to regular exercise. The exercise done keeps the joints in fine tune, helps in loosing excess of fat and calories, which may cause serious health concern. Doing mild stretching exercises are very good form of exercise in order to achieve this state of the body. But one thing should be taken care of that the exercises done should be always mild in nature as intense form of exercises may cause further damage to the body, as it is no more capable of carrying huge loads.
Stretching as an exercise to stay fit
Mild stretching exercises involve stretching each and every part of the body the idea is to generate tension in the joints of the body. Thus this is a form of exercise, which ensures that each and every joint of the body is being worked out. Due to the nature of the exercise the joints of the body becomes more flexible, the muscles attached to the bone becomes stronger. It ensures that the whole body has been worked out. The process of doing stretching exercise generates good amount of heat. The heat thus generated helps in burning the excess amount of calories and fat which can be the cause of major health hazards. The routine of the stretching exercises should not be overdone as it may cause cramps in the joints.
Mild stretching exercises should be practiced regularly so that to ensure overall fitness of the body.
