Exercise for the over 50's has a great impact on health enabling individuals to lead an independent and active lifestyle. Older people who are fitter and have less body fat may also have a better outlook on life than their less active, less lean counterparts, whilst we cannot stop the body ageing. Physical as well as mental exercises are important, as they play a equal role in keeping fit and fine and also healthy.
