About punching:

Punching is a light for of exercise mainly derived from its father boxing. Punching as a physical training is mainly done in order to increase for improving the three areas mainly physical strength, cardiac fitness, and the punching techniques. In terms of martial arts and fighting punching is a strike that is made using the hand closed into a fist. There are many types of punching techniques and each one varies in technique, speed and the range of the punch. In its basic form punching is the most forceful movement that incorporates a motion of the body as a whole that mainly comprises of a short step, a shift of the body, a turn of the shoulders or an extension of the arm. Typically a skilled striker can be potentially lethal with their punches. However, if a forceful paunch landing in the wrong target may damage the hand.

Punching bags for punching:

Mostly, punching is practiced in heavy punching bags and bag gloves arte worn to protect the skin of the hand. The gloves remain tightly wrapped to the hands and protect the hand from the damage due to the repetitive impacts. Typically the punching bag is made sturdy to with stand the repetitive force of the punches. They are filled with grains or other materials like gravel or fine sand and are hung from the ceilings or affixed to a stand. At the same time care is taken so that the bag must absorb the impact of the blows but without causing any harm to the puncher.

Punching with T.V. watching:

Punching while watching television. This might sound a bit odd to many. However here we are reffering to only the light version of the exercise that is to be practiced at home. It may be a good form of work out. However proper attention should be taken while practicing the punches so that the targets are not missed. Also position of the television is also equally important. It is suggested to keep the practice within home and not to the stages because any one might be well aware of the possible risks of watching television in a boxing ring.
