Types of exercise




A broad physical activity routine includes three sorts of activities like aerobic exercise strength training and flexibility exercises. Aerobic exercise increases the heart rate, works the muscles and increases the breathing rate. For most people, it is greatest to aim for a total of about 30 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week. For beginners 5 or 10 minutes a day and work up to more time each week. Split up the activity for the day and try a brisk 10-minute walk after each meal. If someone is trying to lose weight, one may want to exercise more than 30 minutes a day. Like dancing, take a low-impact aerobics class, swim or do water aerobic exercises, try ice-skating or roller-skating, play tennis and stationary bicycle indoors.

Strength Training and flexible exercise:
Strength exercise, done numerous times a week, helps build strong bones and muscles and makes daily chores like carrying groceries easier. With more muscle, one burns more calories, even at rest. Here are some simple ways to do it. Join a class to do muscle training with weights, elastic bands or plastic tubes. Lift light weights at home. It enhances the inner strength and help to keep strong. Flexibility exercises are also called stretching. It helps keeping the joints flexible and reduces the chances of injury during other activities too. Mild stretching for 5 to 10 minutes helps the body warm up and get ready for aerobic activities like walking or swimming. The health care team can provide information on how to stretch and be flexible while doing exercises.

Stay active through out the day:
In accumulation to proper exercise, there are many opportunities to be energetic throughout the day. Being active helps to burns calories. The more one moves around, the more energy one will have. These strategies can help to increase the activity level of activities. Walk as an alternative of drive every time possible. Take the stairs as a substitute of the elevator. Work in the garden, rake leaves or do some housecleaning each day. Park at the far end of the shopping center lot and walk to the store to burn calories. It will help to get better exercise and burning the calories.
